    Lock in movers, packing supplies, elevator booking (if condo).

    Lawyer signing appointment

    Sign closing docs, deliver bank draft / wire instructions for down-payment + closing costs.

    Utility switchover

    Set transfer dates: hydro, gas, water, internet. Final meter readings at old place.

    Final walkthrough

    Verify the home is in the agreed condition and all inclusions are present.

    🏡 Closing day — keys!

    Lawyer confirms registration and funds release. Pick up keys in the afternoon.

    Address change checklist

    Update Service Canada, CRA, driver's licence, bank, employer, subscriptions.
